Details of our visit to Narasaraopet projects.
Narasaraopet is around 70kms away from Chirala. Roads are very bad especially from Chilakaluripet to Narasaraopet. I think because of the recent cyclone, roads were damaged quite a bit so we decided to visit all the three projects on the same day.
First we went to the sewing projects which are in Navodaya nagar and Shalem nagar.
The instructor at Navodayanagar is Satyavathi. She started working with Shoshana from Dec-2010. This is her second batch of training class. Women almost at the end of the course.

Women coming to the class are from different financial backgrounds like fruit vendors, domestic helpers etc but almost all are needy.This training would definitely help them in improving their lives.

Here in this project besides the regular stitching, the instructor Mrs.Santhamma teaches more handicrafts stuff to the students like wall hangings, purses, decoration items etc

This is more of a village area so people will have definite use for these models.
