Pics on the way to Shoshana medical project at Karamchedu village.

On the request of the villagers, the patients from this area are going to get blood pressure and diabetic medicines from this month onwards as per the doctor's prescription.

People are very happy for the special help.
This place is on the entrance of Chirala town( inbetween Chirala and Karamchedu village ) which is a disgrace to the town. Even though the town is developing very fast in terms of building constructions,  business and education, still the Government doesn't know how to get rid of the waste. Its growing day by day causing diseases both to people and animals.

Railway area medical project, Chirala.

Recent pics from Shoshana Medical Project near railway station area, Chirala.

Shoshana has been providing medical support in this area for the last 3 years.

Here in Chirala we had heavy rains in the last two months and since this area is low lying, most of the rainy season it is flooded. Due to unhygienic surroundings, mosquitoe problem is more here.

Besides medication, I think they need mosquito nets and if local Government takes some action against mosquito problem it would be helpful for the people in that area.

The nurse Ms.Lavanya  newly started working for the project here but in a short period she got used to the people here and she is taking good care of their health problems.

Hai friends,

Its been quite some time that i updated my blog.

Here i come with the pics of our new medical project at Vijayawada city.

Our managing director Mrs.Martha in her recent visit to India, selected this area called Bhanu nagar  in Vijayawada city to provide medical support.

Started recently in the month of Oct-13.  This project is working along with the local church group under the name of Grace jeevan society who took initiative in bringing the request for medical help in this area. to the notice of Shoshana.

The local society selected Mrs.Sandhya as a regular nurse for this project. She has working experience in various private hospitals.
She is a Christian, married and her husband is also one of the members in the local society.

The local society was started in 2002 and since then it has been doing several activities for the poor every now and then with the help of the Church like conducting medical camps, widow pensions etc.

People here are mainly rickshaw pullers, building construction workers etc.

New Medical project at NTR colony, Sai nagar, Chirala.

Mainly weaver's colony.

We had a medical centre at Weaver's colony, Epurupalem since2006 but one year back it was moved to a different needy colony in Epurupalem.

Keeping in view the medical need for the weaving community, Shoshana made an extension of the medical support to Sai nagar, Chirala.
Buela rani , the nurse from Epurupalem medical project is taking care of the centre at Sai nagar, Chirala besides her regular work.
Regular medical help at Sai nagar area started from Sep-2103. The councellor from the local area alloted one room for the medical centre.

Room is quite  sufficient for the first aid help. Buela rani is a well experienced nurse and if necessary she could as well respond to emergency cases and help the people to get necessary treatment.

Meeting Grace Jeevan Society members who applied for Medical help at Bhanunagar, Vijayawada.

GJS is started in the year 2002. From 2005 onwards with the support from the local Pentecostal church, the members are doing different social activities like providing educational support to needy students, educational awareness campaigns, Medical camps with team of doctors etc.

GJS president, Mr.G.Nathaniel invited us to visit their area to find out about the possibilities of opening a medical centre in their area.  The area called Gulabithota is a slum in the middle of the city containing about 15000 people.

Medical support is not at the reach of these people. Due to poor hygienic conditions and  lack of facilities, they are more prone to diseases.

The society members requested for medical centre where they could atleast get first aid help.
The president Mr.Nathaniel is also a pastor besides working as an accountant,so he is familiar with the church people and the people around his area.  He could convince the people to participate in supporting the medical centre once it is started.
