Visit to Shoshana Sewing Centre, Pedanandipadu.

Pedanandipadu  village is a major agricultural village with around 6000 population. The main occupation here is agriculture.

Inorder to help the needy women in this area Shoshana started Sewing project in Appapuram village which is close to Pedanandipadu in the year 2003band later moved to Pedanandipadu which is a bigger area  with  more needy women who are interested in  self help programs.


The instructor Mrs. Sivakumari is a tailor basically and after joining in Shoshana she has been training women in Stitching and embroidery for the last 13 years. She has regular apprentice from her students those who work under her supervision before starting their own work.
