CDS-Shoshana Sewing Project, Pandaripuram, Chilakaluripet.
Shoshana sewing and embroidery training program at Pandaripuram, Chilakaluripet is reaching tribal women from remote villages where families often live in difficult conditions with limited access to stable employment and income. Most women have few opportunities to develop skills that can help them earn while caring for their families.
Shoshana started this sewing centre in the year 2006 and so far more than 200 women got free sewing and embroidery classes. We are very happy to inform that majority of the women are using these skills for their livelihood and were able to provide a better life for their families.
Through this program, we provide hands on training in embroidery, sewing and teaching techniques that can be used to decorate garnments and handicrafted products besides regular stitching garnments. These practical skills give women the confidence to work from home, start small income generating activities or find employment in tailoring and garment related work.
We are deeply grateful to our donors for making this program possible. Your generosity is equipping these women with valuable skills that will continue to benefit them for years to come. Thank you for investing in their future.
