VISIT TO SHOSHANA MEDICAL CENTRE, RAMAPURAM.


Last visit on our schedule for this year to one our medical centres near the beach.
It is medical help for the fishermen community.

Chirala Beach


The situations were worse when we first started in the year 2004 right after the Tsunami hit the coast areas of A.P.  Instead of one time help like giving out fishing nets etc people wanted to have a regular medical help in that area which was not available for them at that time.
Shoshana Medical Centre, Ramapuram


Beach resorts came up and more tourists started coming to this area.
Now situations are better for the people with proper roads, electricity and housing from the government but medical wise they are still dependent on the medical project for basic medication since the area is far away from the town.
