Picture from Shoshana sewing centre, Pedanandipadu village.

Free sewing training for especially agricultural labourers. Women here are not much educated, either housewives or daily workers in  mostly paddy and cotton fields.

The instructor Mrs. Sivakumari is also from agricultural background. She is aware of the general problems the women faces at home and their financial need to have additional skill for their self employment besides having their regular work as a agricultural worker.

Sivakumari being a tailor herself is helping the women to get some work from outside while training so that they could earn some income and also have enough practice.
