Distribution of Sewing machines

Distribution of sewing machines to some of the previous students at Shoshana Sewing Centre, Giripuram, Vijayawada.

After finishing the training program, all the instructors working with Shoshana  see that the needy students get a sewing machine on a small credit and make follow ups so that they get independent and make use of their skill for their better living.

Few pics from the distribution of sewing machines.
Student Sowjanya with Hemima(Instructor)
Sowjanya finished her free tailoring class from Shoshana sewing centre, Vijayawada. Her parents expired. Unfortunately. her husband also left her. No children. Presently she is taking shelter at one of her relatives houses. She is helping them in the household activities but still dependent on them.

Now She got a sewing machine and if she could make use of it, she could be independent and live on her own.

Poojitha
Lakhsmi and poojitha, both from Vijayawada and finished their free tailoring classes from our sewing centre, Vijayawada. Both are married.  Husbands, daily workers.
Lakhsmi is illiterate and has two children. Poojitha finished her school.
Both, already started stitching for the neighbours but they didn't have their own machines. They come to the sewing centre when there is no class so that could use the machines.

Now they got their own machines. They are happy that could set up their own shop at home.
