Due to the nation wide lock down, got some break for the sewing projects from their regular work
but they are keeping themselves busy with stitching of face masks which are necessary at the moment.

There is a scarcity of disposable masks at the medical shops which are expensive too so the sewing projects are making face masks which we could distribute at our medical projects as well as to the people at the sewing projects.

Sharing some of the pics from our various sewing projects:

Distribution of Protective Equipment to the Village Secretariat Staff, Heyerpet Chirala.

There is a scarcity of protective equipment because of too much demand.
The people like the volunteers, who are regularly working for the community needs in this lock down period are in need of protective equipment.

Government of India also asked the NGO's to participate in supplying the necessary equipment to the needy and homeless people as well as for the volunteers who are working continuously to stop the spread of the corona virus.

Yesterday through our Shoshana medical project, Chirala we distributed some protective  equipment like sanitizers, masks, gloves, soaps etc to the village volunteers  and handed over some supplies to the village secretariat office.

There is a nation wide lock down due to the Corona Virus Pandemic in India.

Our state Andhra Pradesh is also following strict lock down since there is an out break of  positive cases of Corona.

Our Shoshana Medical centres are  working amidst this chaos helping people who are need of medical supplies.

Giving awareness about social distancing and providing with Vitamins, Sanitizers and Masks.

Public transport is suspended so it would be useful for the people  if the medical help is in reach.

Pics from one of our medical centre areas. Nurses are  telling them about social distancing, where people mainly live on the roads for their daily activities. Difficult for the people to stay indoors but still trying to tell them to take precautions not to spread disease.
