Pics from Shoshana sewing centre, Bapatla.

These women started their training in sewing and embroidery in last Nov-13.  Almost all of them are from either agricultural background like field workers or building constsruction workers. Heard about the free training program from the previous batch students.

She is Mounica. She is a school drop out. Both her parents are dhobis. It is their family work for a long time. They also have a small laundry shop. Naturally her parents put her in the same work but she wants to do something decent. With the intention of setting up her own shop and be independent she joined the free training class.

She is Rajeswari. School drop out. Father is handicapped so her mother is running the house. She goes along with her mother for work. Both are field workers. She has an elder sister who is married and younger brother is studying. She hopes her training program helps her to set up her own tailoring shop at home besides her father who is running a small shop at home.
